GRYGRDNS (Santa Fe)
High Desert Witch Rock Ballads
Forming in early 2014, GRYGRDNS began as a collaboration between Miranda Scott (Evarusnik) and Eliza Lutz (As In We). Blending their highly unique and contrasting voices with an etheric soundscape shaped by the droning interplay of reverb-drenched guitar and piano, the group has created an undulating soundtrack to a waking dream. The compositions wash over the listener like a wave of silk and thunder, taking root by way of lyrical poetry that drives their meaning ever forward.
Welcome to the garden.
SIRENS (Santa Fe)
one-woman power choir
SIRENS was started by chance in 2009 in New York by Paris Mancini. The project immediately caught fire and traveled to Berlin, the US, and now Latin America. SIRENS has existed so far as a 3 piece, a one-woman power choir, a wall of noise in the back of a shady bar in Staten Island, the front of a symphony recording in middle America, the secret show in a mirror room underground in Chelsea, recording amongst millions in Mexico City, etc.
